What is Managed Backup?
While backup is of utmost importance, we understand not every company has an IT personnel who knows how or has the time to focus on backup.
We provide the backup software as well as the manpower to handle your backup – from monitoring for issues to assisted recovery and backup testing.
What is Guided Recovery?
We will guide you with instruction on steps to perform the recovery.
What is Alert Remediation?
With Alert Remediation we work with you to troubleshoot and resolve the issue on your behalf.
What is Assisted Recovery?
When you need to recover files, just contact us and we will get it done for you.
What is Backup Testing?
Files that are in backup do not necessarily guarantee they can be used, the backup may get corrupted making the stored files unusable. This is what you want to avoid when you need to recover your files from a disaster. As a precaution to make sure all your backups is working, we perform periodic backup testing to ensure the backup files are in working condition for when you need them.
How is Backup Testing carried out?
We arrange a session with you to restore a chosen folder or files, and verify with you the recovered files are in working condition.
How often do you perform Backup Testing?
We do it every 6 months.
If you have requirements for a higher frequency check, feel free to consult with us.
How many devices can I backup with Workstation/Server Backup?
Each license is for 1 device backup, you can however send your backup to as many other local devices as you want.
Can I use Workstation Backup on my servers?
The backup will not be able to function properly if you use the Workstation Backup on a server.
I only got the Workstation/Server Backup license, can I have access to Alert Remediation or Assisted Recovery services?
Yes, you can access them as an ad hoc add-on service as and when you need them.
Do note that however, our SLA does not apply to ad hoc services.
How does the Pay As You Use work?
You only pay for what you use, allowing you to scale up and down the service as you need, unlike the traditional method where you are required to pay upfront for 1 year of service/software/products which limits your cash flow and purchasing options.
If you only need to back up 2 servers and need 300GB of cloud storage, you pay for the 2 server backup licenses and 300GB of cloud storage. In the following month, you no longer need a server, you now only pay for 1 server backup license and the cloud storage.
I don’t have a dedicated IT staff to manage the IT services, how would this affect the services?
When you acquire Managed IT Services from us, it is inclusive of our day-to-day maintenance and management of the services. In fact, Managed IT Services make even more sense for you in this case to fulfil your technology needs without having a dedicated IT staff to look after the services.
