What threats does Blazon Email Security protect against?

Does Blazon Email Security protect Microsoft 365?

Yes. Blazon Email Security protects all your licensed email inboxes in Microsoft 365.

Does Blazon Email Security protect Google Drive?

Blazon Email Security protects Google Workspace email (Gmail) but does not provide security functionality for Google Drive. Blazon Email Security does, however, protect against attacks that are hosted on Google Drive and delivered via email.

Does Blazon Email Security provide spam filtering?

Yes. Blazon Email Security Personal Spam Filter works in conjunction with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace spam filters to allow end users to block unwanted emails based on their individual preferences. A user can mark a message as junk with one click to stop receiving emails from that sender. The filter will block the sender for that individual user only, so other recipients within the organization who may want to continue receiving communications from that sender won’t be affected.

Is Blazon Email Security easy to deploy?

Very! Blazon Email Security features activation wizards for both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, which automatically provision Graphus for every new domain with lightning speed and precision, reducing the activation effort for the customer’s IT admin to just three clicks.

Does every employee need to activate Blazon Email Security manually?

No. Once your administrator activates Blazon Email Security for your organization, it is automatically activated for all active user accounts for which you purchased Blazon Email Security licenses. Only IT/security personnel need access to the Blazon Email Security Portal.

We use an email client, will this affect the usage of Blazon Email Security application?

No, it does not. Blazon Email Security integrates with your cloud email platform via API; thus, all interactions are monitored and protected independently of the client or device used to access emails by your employees.

What threats does Blazon Email Security protect against?

Does Blazon read my company email?

Blazon personnel does not have access to your email or your Blazon Email Security Portal. Blazon Email Security processes emails in memory to identify threats to your business. It does not store emails outside your cloud email platform (i.e., Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace). Blazon Email Security extracts and stores meta attributes in the Blazon Email Security Cloud. These attributes are accessible only by your authorized personnel and are used for investigating suspicious messages and in incident response to detected threats.

How is customer data (eg meta attribute) secured in Blazon Email Security Cloud?

The Blazon Email Security Cloud uses an Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for encrypting and storing customer data (customer emails are not stored in the Blazon Email Security Cloud). Amazon RDS uses cutting-edge security and encryption technology. Two-factor authentication is supported for customers utilizing a username and password. Passwords are secured using PBKDF2 for hashing that employs salted passwords for each user with 1,000 iterations of hashing. The Blazon Email Security Portal uses Secure Transport Layer (HTTPS) for securing data in motion when accessed by customers using web browsers.

What is the pricing based on?

Blazon Email Security subscriptions are priced per mailbox protected. So, for example, if your subscription to Microsoft 365 (or Google Workspace) is for 250 user accounts, you only need to pay for a 250-mailbox subscription to Blazon Email Security, regardless of how many aliases or group email addresses you use.

How does the Pay As You Use work?

You only pay for what you use, allowing you to scale up and down the service as you need, unlike the traditional method where you are required to pay upfront for 1 year of service/software/products which limits your cash flow and purchasing options.

If you only need to protect 50 email accounts, you pay for 50 Blazon Email Security licenses. In the following month, your headcount and the number of email account to protect increase to 60 , you now pay for 60 Blazon Email Security licenses.

Due to my accounting/finance processes, can I still pay annual instead of Pay As You Use?

Yes you can. You also enjoy a discounted rate when you pay for an annual subscription.

Any subsequent additional subscription will be calculated based on the Pay As You Use basis.

I don’t have a dedicated IT staff to manage the IT services, how would this affect the services?

When you acquire Managed IT Services from us, it is inclusive of our day-to-day maintenance and management of the services. In fact, Managed IT Services make even more sense for you in this case to fulfil your technology needs without having a dedicated IT staff to look after the services.
